These full cone tangential nozzles are characterized by the absence of internal swirl.
They therefore have a particularly large internal free passage and are the class of nozzles with less risk of clogging due to solid parts in the sprayed fluids. Factor that puts them in an advantageous position, even with respect to spiral nozzles, since with the same flow rate, the size of the minimum internal passage is much greater.
As general they offer a free passage bigger in size, respect to the free passage clog-resistant axial nozzles manufactured by competitors.
They are tangential, because they have a jet that is orthogonal to the axis of the fluid inlet the nozzle.
The hydrodynamic internal brake generates a uniform distribution of the jet to the vary of the supply pressure, with drops of large size and of considerable mass, so very directional.
They can be made in both stainless steel and brass and also various plastics.
Typical applications of these full-cone nozzles are:
- Intense industrial washing processes
- Chemical Industry
- Food industry
